MOOG MESSENGER FIRMWARE UPDATE

The latest Messenger firmware update has arrived. The updater adds new features to the synth including duophonic mode (allowing you to play two notes at once paraphonically) and assignable modulation wheel to use as a modulation source for vastly increased expressiveness.

Need to organize your Messenger patches? Want to have the capability to control Messenger's parameters using your Mac or PC? Want to explore deeper modulation routings or program the sequencer with ease? Effortlessly do it all with the new Messenger Preset Editor, available now for download for Mac and PC.

Control all of Messenger’s panel settings as well as deeper modulation routings / configuration settings right from the app. You can also program Messenger’s sequencer and control per-step probabilistic behavior.

The librarian features allow users to save and load presets to build preset collections to fit their needs for studio or live.

Moog announces MESSENGER, a brand new monosynth combining classic Moog design with innovative new ways to make unique sounds — blending the classic Moog sound with modern features. The Moog Messenger features two oscillators with wavefolding, a sub-oscillator featuring continuously variable waveshapes, 2 looping ADSR envelopes, 32 semi-weighted full-size keys with velocity and aftertouch, generous patch slots and of course, the classic Moog ladder filter with added much-requested features: resonance bass compensation and multiple filter slopes. All this at a price that won't break the bank.
